Fire Risk Assessments
There are a number of questions we have before we're able to quote for a Fire Risk Assessment such as:
- Your building details: Office, Shop, factory address
- The number of floors including basement (if any)
- Number of approximate metres
- Any plans you may have available (optional)
- What type of business you are/what your business does
- Any high risk processes or hazards, gases, chemical, explosives
- Any notices served by Fire Authority or HSE?
The Assessment follows the 5 step risk assessment process recommended by the HSE and guidance documentation issued by the Fire and Rescue Services such as:
- Identification of Fire Hazards
- Identify Persons at Risk
- Evaluation of the Risks (Eliminate, Reduce or Control)
- Recording of Significant Findings
- Monitor and Review Process
Where possible, we will require the following documentation during the assessors visit:
- Fire logbooks and or service register
- Fire emergency plans
- Fire certificates if you have one
- Copies of any previous fire risk assessments
- Servicing records for lifts, HVAC, boilers and any plant equipment on the premises
- PAT certificates and electrical service schedules
We can also provide other courses in this area such as:
- Fire Safety Training
- Fire Warden Training
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Incident and Emergency Procedure Training
