Overview

All employees should be aware of how to make a safe escape in the event of a fire, how to reduce fire risks in the workplace and how to deal with fire if safe and appropriate. Our course is designed to deliver this information in an engaging and interactive way.

Worksafe UK’s half day (3 hour) comprehensive Fire Awareness Training is delivered at your place of work.

Courses can be customised to suit your needs, for example to take into account specific features of your premises or nature of business undertaken.

For your peace of mind, all our trainers meet the ‘competent persons’ criteria as set out in Article 18(5) of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Many are former experienced Fire Brigade Officers, each with many years of service. Their experience allows them to go ‘off script’ where necessary to deal with questions relating to issues specific to your workplace.

A comprehensive booklet is provided to all candidates to support the Fire Awareness Course syllabus and is particularly useful as an individual fire safety reference book for future use.

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the training.
