Fire Warden Training

Our Fire Warden Training course is delivered at your place of work by experienced trainers

Our Fire Warden Training can be customised to suit your needs, for example, to take into account specific features of your premises or nature of business undertaken.

We usually ask you for a copy of your emergency plan and integrate this into the training materials.

Current fire safety legislation requires that persons (including Fire Wardens) are appointed to assist in undertaking the required fire safety protective measures and that these persons must be suitably trained. Worksafe UK's Fire Warden Training Course is designed to meet the statutory requirement to comply with this legislation.

Class sizes are usually between four and ten staff and for your peace of mind, all our trainers meet the 'competent persons' criteria as set out in Article 18(5) of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Many are former experienced Fire Brigade Officers, each with many years of service. Their experience allows them to go 'off script' where necessary to deal with questions relating to issues specific to your workplace.

A comprehensive booklet is provided to all candidates to support the 'Fire Warden Course' syllabus and is particularly useful as an individual fire safety reference book for future use.
