Manual Handling Risk Assessment

Manual Handling Train the Trainer

Manual handling tasks involve the moving, lifting, carrying, lowering, pushing and pulling of a load. Incorrect manual handling can lead to a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and upper-limb disorders (ULDs).

In order to prevent manual handling injuries,  a risk assessment of  manual handling activities should be your first consideration.

When we carry out a Manual Handling Risk Assessment for you we will review your systems of work in order to identify hazard and assess risk. Then we will work with you to plan and develop safer systems of work, and advise you on staff training requirements.

Our Manual Handling Risk Assessors have extensive knowledge of both human anatomy and ergonomics. You can be confident that you will receive a quality manual handling risk assessment alongside sound advice on how to help avoid becoming injured or unwell as a result of incorrect lifting and moving.

We do not sell any manual handling accessories or aids. Our assessments are presented to you with no ulterior motives or ‘must have’ shopping lists.
